Paolo's parents finally got electricity! They roughed it for five days without power after Hurricane Charley, but managed to get by. Thankfully, there was no structural damage, to them or the house.

Paolo arrived safely back in Brooklyn. It was an amazing trip from San Diego to Florida. Now it's back to working for the Army of Darkness. Thanks to everyone for commissioning sketches at the Con.

Paolo was invited to an advanced screening of Spider-Man 2 and got to sit in the same row as John Romita! He was also very excited to meet Humberto Ramos, who sat in front of him. The movie was awesome too.

Spectacular Spider-Man #14 goes on sale. This is Paolo's first full length comic book at a whopping 23 painted pages (plus cover). Written by Paul Jenkins (of Origin fame). Click here for a great review.

Paolo has just finished his taxes and his Spider-Man comic. If all goes as planned, Spectacular Spider-Man #14 will be out on May 12th and his check to the IRS will clear.

Paolo celebrated New Year's by drinking while trying to avoid finishing Spider-Man, then spent the rest of the month trying to finish Spider-Man. Emily left for the Peace Corps, sadly.

Paolo made it to Brooklyn safely and is trying to build a life there.

Paolo will be moving to Brooklyn in November to pursue his dreams of becoming a Broadway performer and hairstylist to the stars.

Paolo was included in Spectrum 10, an international anthology of sci-fi and fantasy art. The chosen entries were Iron Man and Children of the Left Hand. The book can be purchased through amazon.com.

Paolo graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in June with a BFA in Illustration, then got to spend the entire summer in Hawaii (Maui) with fellow artist R. Kikuo Johnson (and his parents).

Paolo was included in The Society of Illustrators Annual Scholarship Competition, 2003. The chosen entry was Iron Man.

The six person senior show, "Power and Responsibility," was a huge success. There were lines of people waiting outside to get in (which may or may not have been because Paolo and fellow exhibitors were late).
